4/8 Cooking at Home with Tony: Nduja Stuffed Dates

12 ea Medjool Dated pitted

1/2 C. Nduja or chorizo sausage is a good substitute

1/4 C Parmesan

1 1/2C Prepared tomato sauce (see Banana peppers recipe)

2 T. Seasoned bread crumbs, (garlic powder, oregano, basil)

Preheat oven to 425. Remove pits from dates. Add about 1 T of nduja to each date and close them up. In a glass baking dish, put prepared sauce in bottom of the pan. Add stuffed dates to sauce. Sprinnke with parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Bake 15-20 minutes. Serve.
